Bob – the King of the Sea

Bob – the King of the Sea As with a lot of my other images, this one also shows my fascination with the sea – particularly in what might live there. Meet Bob. He’s the king of the southern part of the Bahamas, which he’s enjoying immensely. He’s kind, wise and has a deep fascination with humans, particularly those small ones who makes a lot of noise. The project was made using ZBrush, Modo, Mari and Photoshop.     ...

I then brought into modo to retopologize it....

Lurking in the Deep

Lurking in the deep This project started really as a quick sculpt in ZBrush over a couple of hours during an evening. As the sculpt turned out well enough, I decided to finish the piece. I’ve been working on and off it for the last two months in the little spare time I’ve had.   I started out with a very rough model in modo which had the correct scale and proportions. I then brought it into ZBrush where I really defined the design. Once I was happy with it, I retopologized it in modo, where I also did my UVs, along with UV Master in ZBrush. I had to redo the topology...

Magic of Love – Proof of Concept

A proof of concept for the upcoming animated movie with the working title The Magic of Love. I made everything in the image from scratch. I started out with a storyboard panel and one concept drawing per character. I then modeled, textured and lit the entire scene, as well as rigging the characters to pose them.   Click the image for it to display correctly.           This is the property of Wring Wrong Films Ltd. You can follow the progression of the film on their Facebook...
